Nero, 54-68. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.57 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 64-65. NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Nero to right. Rev. IVPPITER CVST[OS] Jupiter seated left, holding thunderbolt in his right hand and long scepter in his left. BMC 74. CBN 220. Cohen 119. RIC 53. A beautifully toned example with a bold portrait. Struck on a slightly short flan, otherwise, about extremely fine.
